Starting prices are a guide for the smaller end of each type of build. A complete platform is scoped separately. Your quote sets out the features, delivery plan, hosting and any third-party costs. Agency work can use your branding.

Tools I use

React Native and Expo for apps; JavaScript and Node.js for interfaces and server logic; Firebase and Google Cloud for accounts, databases, files and processing; Cloudflare Pages Functions and D1 for web systems; Stripe and Google Play for payments; Vite and Capacitor for focused web and Android tools. The case studies show where and why I've used them.

Monthly hosting & support

Built, launched
and looked after.

You don't need to manage the technical side once it's live. I can host your website or app, maintain it and help with changes. The build price and ongoing costs are agreed separately, so you know what you're paying to create it and what it costs to keep running.

Care & hosting

A regular monthly fee for hosting and an agreed level of ongoing care.

  • Hosting and the configuration needed to run your system

  • Small changes within your agreed monthly allowance

We set out what's covered, the change allowance and any usage limits in your quote. Larger additions are quoted separately.

Pay as you go

usage + support

Your actual server costs plus an agreed markup, with maintenance and changes billed at £60/hour.

  • Hosting charges reflect the services your system uses
  • The hosting markup is agreed up front; development and support are £60/hour
  • Support and development are billed separately from hosting
  • A suitable option when you prefer to pay for work as needed

Ad hoc development & support — £60/hour

For updates, troubleshooting and additional features outside your monthly plan. I estimate the work and agree a spending limit with you before starting. Larger projects receive a fixed quote.

What else can affect the monthly cost?

Domains, email services, payment fees, storage and AI usage can have their own charges. Your quote explains which costs are included in your plan and which are separate. A simple website and a busy app will have different running costs.

Before launch, we agree who manages the service accounts, the support available and the terms for changing or ending the arrangement.
